(b) — About
I like figuring out how things work — and then how they could work better.

San Diego / UC San Diego
I study Cognitive Science at UC San Diego with an emphasis on Human-Computer Interaction. My work sits between product design, interaction design and front-end engineering — and I'm most useful in the space where those overlap.
I use AI as part of how I design and build: exploring ideas, prototyping faster, spotting UX issues, translating designs into interfaces, troubleshooting implementations and testing alternative interaction patterns. It speeds up the work — it does not make the decisions. Design judgment is still mine.

What I'm made of
six threadsCognitive science
How people perceive, remember and decide — the reason an interface feels obvious or not.
HCI & research
Studies, interviews and usability testing that change what gets built, not just what gets documented.
Design
Interaction and interface work with a bias toward clarity over decoration.
Software
Front-end implementation, because the build is where most UX problems actually show up.
Experimentation
Small tests, quick prototypes, and a willingness to throw the first idea away.
Entrepreneurship
Client work and independent products — shipping, not just presenting.
